The call of the water (2023) - Screenwriter
The documentary shows the effects and repercussions of water in Peru because of climate change, particularly in the Central mountains and the South of the country. The acidification of the water due to heavy metals that were exposed with the deglaciation and the water deficit present in the Sierra Sur and how this also affects the country's capital.
The documentary shows the work of the communities and the government to overcome these problems with the construction of qochas, reservoirs, recovery and grasslands management to mitigate the water deficit in the South, while in the central mountains the restoration of quinoa forests, a highly nutritious plant that does not require much water becomes one of the alternatives to face climate change.
